A few pixs of the boar the girls caught in the river!

Well these have to be some of the worst pictures I have and I really debated on not putting them up because they are only cell phone grade but, after some consideration I decided to post a few. We had so much fun with this little boar hog (although I am sure the feeling was not mutual especially after the castration took place Shocked

) The Trinty River's cool water was a sweet relief from the days heat wave. On this hunt was me, Christi, and Chrissy. The dogs took this little boar across the river and then brought him back again to us. It was a sight to see the dogs really working that hog. It was like hog dog Ice Capads only without the ice. Grin

They were a picture of perfection in my eyes at that moment. As the dogs got the boar back to the bank we turned loose the catch dog and then, in we dove. It was pretty bluff where we stepped off into the river and the sand was like quicksand under our feet. Every time we would lift our feet to find solid ground so that we could brace ourselves in the water it would once again just disappear. We couldn't get the hog up on the bank so we just flipped him onto his back and rested his head on the edge of the bluff bank and tied the little devil. After that it was all over but the cryin for him! We drug him out, castrated him, and turned him loose so that we could catch him when he was a little bigger and (I am sure) ready to settle the score. In the castration picture it is Christi and Crissy holdin him still and me on the knife. Hummm, maybe that is why Chance hasn't slept good since we have been together (which is going on 14 years) Cheesy

. But, I do believe the scariest thing is the efficiency in which us three girls worked together to hold the little man down and get the job done! Be careful guys.... I wouldn't make us angry! Evil
