For puppies I like air but a lot of dogmen won't go to the trouble to ship a pup via air, plus you have to pay for a vet cert. Some shippers require that some don't. Where you shipping from and too, I am assuming to Georgia from where?

I just used Pet48llc, Bill Timmons 772-349-3349 www.pet48llc.com I got on a group shipment from San Antonio, TX to Florida.  I am in the Panhandle so I meet him (his driver, Bradley Flisek) at an exit on I-10 because I only live about 25 miles and figured it would make it easier on him.  He offered several times to come directly to my home but I know they are ready to get home also so I just meet him.

I was pleased with the service I received and felt like it was a good price however I have never shipped a dog before but the breeder I bought the pup from said she had used him before and like I said he was bringing two other pups to Florida also.

Hope this helps.

Northwest ships dogs too. Only oroblem you'll run into is if you are shipping bully breeds. Heck, aint sure , but even thought i remembered them stopped shipping bullys all together. Too many complications and dead dogs .

I've flown a dog from Germany, two from Sweden, and one from Florida. Talk bout a headache! Got to buy a crate and jump through hoops. And vet certs. In the end still had to drive from la to Chicago to get the ones from Sweden.

There are regional transporters that make dedicated routes. I've heard good things about Cajun pet express. There are a couple pinned on the for sale board as well. Takes cooridination in tour and the breeder and the shippers part as the runs are usually over a regionsl route and breeder may have to hold pup couoke weeks longer but seems best route if you can't do it yourself.

I have had best luck just makin road trip personally. I have done it and help many others get a pup point a to b myself over the years when traveling.  Throw the date up on this and other dog boards tou may frequent when time gets close. Chances are you may find someone to help out and just may have to kick out a bit for gas and drive a bit to keep them from going out of their way for helping you. If you do this never make a person wait on you. ....it's just common courtesy

Georgia, dog shows used to be good time to hitch rides. Any breed specific shows in fla that may attract folks from Midwest you can find out bout close to when you wznt dog shipped  could be a good ticket to get dog close to you

I only had one pup shipped but there was three coming from the same breeder to Florida here.  The other two where going on down the state.  It cost me $200.
I know they run all over the US but he did say that he tries not to go into the NW, Washington, Oregon areas due to the snow.
