Kicked out on some fresh sign Sunday morning about 830. Sadie, Curl, and Prissy left out on a track, while i was trying to get Abby's collar picked up. 870 yards later they were bayed. The whole time abby is making her way to them. Ran outta trail on the bikes n started into a massive briar thicket on foot. I had my wife's cousin and one of my baseball players with me plus my wife, pops, and TomTom. About 150 yards away Abby n Curl catch. They are young i guess n hope they grow out of it. We still ease in without getting in a hurry. Send patches--- Jalen legs it n CJ gets his first ever hog kill. From there we begin out and dogs have relayed onto something else in two different directions. Sadie and Curl go North East n Abby n Prissy go due South. Get back to the bikes and hang out about 20 minutes and my unit buzzs. Look down and says Abby n Prissy are bayed.... Skeptical to say the least we head the mile over that way. Sure enough we get to 200 yards and they are still bayed. Start into a different saw briar thicket assuming it is going ot be a littermate to the little one we just caught. Heck naw send Sheba n nothing but grunting. I immediately sent Patches to go help. Ended up being this nice boar. Sadie n Curl watered out, and we decided to call it a day because we were beat up from the briars.

Abby is 15 months old. Prissy is 9 months old.

Good hunt. always nice to make it a family affair & take the kids. I would much rather hunt the marsh with no briars but when the gators are out, then we have to hunt the cutovers. Nice hog.
