Larry Parker has his own website. Not sure what it is but you can type his name in on a search and it will come up.

I have never owned one of his dogs, but I feel Larry is a pretty straight shooter and produces some good dogs.

I have told him a few times, if he ever gets a red or yellow pup out of his dogs that no one wants, for him to call me.....I wouldn't mind trying one.

The ones Ive been around have been hunting fools. I have a half parker dog, he's just about got too much range to suit me, and is real rough.

Thanks for the info. Ill check his site out. Where I hunt theres not a large amount of hogs there scatered out it takes a dog with a good nose to get em up.

Michael, send that dog my way i'll feed him and hunt him. I like a long rang dog that gets out and hunts and has a LOt of hustle to him.    Hows ol Hollywood doing ?

larry's line of dogs are as good as they get in my opinion.(there r several good lines of dogs out there)I have 5 full parkers curs And 3 half parkers and between my other two hunting partners they own 11 more full parkers.   They have a ton of hunt, lots of bottom and have stopping power. They are usually pretty rangy and have a nose on them. The areas we hunt are extremely thick cutovers or briAr thickets and the hogs like to run.   The Parker curs get the job done for us. The hardest thing is finding one to buy usually getting a pup and starting it yourself is easier but full Parker pups are hard to get nowadays. Larry is a good guy, he can tell u all about them.

I have had several full Parkers all 3 came from Larry,(one was out of my old Snookie dog that I bought from Larry as a pup) I say that as far as buying one just remeber that alot of people claim to have this and that and will pawn dogs off claiming they are parkers and really all they are selling is the name . If u find one call Larry he knows where most of his dogs are and who to get them from. not trying to say the people on here are  doing this just warning all. if want to know more call me are u want to see them hunt will take you hunting I live in Cleveland Texas 281-806-9441. I bred a half parker to a Clark dog and had real good results out of that also. Doug Edding out of Silbee has some Parker dogs also ( I have a 3/4 parker that come from him that is 8 months old that is starting real good. Also thier is a man in Mississippi that has some. I know others on here has them but that is all I personally know. I would recommend them

I've got three. There off of Doug Eddings Rowdy dog that is full Parker from Larry and a 1/2 Parker gyp,
They'll be two this month, and are doing real good. I put some on the dog trade forum last week, that I bred out of the male and a heck of a rangy find dog gyp.
Last week me and my youngest son were hunting and caught a bad boar and then one of the Parker gyps had a sow bayed up to the east and we went to her, and got that one. We needed to get back home and give a catch dog some attention. This Parker gyp started leaving with us, as we were walking back through a big coastal pasture she went back in some woods, we just went on to the house and took care of a couple dogs. At 1:30 in the afternoon we tracked back to her and she had another big sow bayed up on her bed with a bunch of baby pigs. There a independent dog for sure.
