I heard the price was up on hogs again... Back to around .40 cents a pound. Anyone know for sure?

southern's prices 60lb-80lb .10 81lb-100lb .15 with $5 head bonus 101lb-150lb .20 with $5 head bonus 151lb-250lb .22 with $10 head bonus 251lb-up .25 with 10 dollor

my buddy chance sold 2 sows we caught yesterday in centerville. think he said bigger hogs were bringing up to .40 the 2 we sold brought $125. should have tied the other ones we caught. but anyway price is up a little.

man we cant hardly give hogs away down here !! used to be able to sell toothy hogs to outfitters for atleast $100 or more but now yer lucky to get a $20 dollar bill outa them !! !!! and forget it when it comes to meat hogs !! $5-$10 better than nothing i guess !! used to make decent money and it pretty much paid for itself to go 3-4 nights a week !! feed the hogs ,dogs, and still put some in yer pocket !!

just sold a load for .22 a pound...hogs 220 and up are bringing 27 a pound.

ill buy hogs for $25 100lbs and up. and consider smallers ones. ill have to talk to my buyer first. and if i have room for them.
located in santa fe, tx

Thats some pretty good money. It COSTS me $19.70 per hog we kill. I think the state is raising the price in june too.
