Hooked up the boat, loaded up Graham, Ann and Little Girl and headed to the swamp. Pulled up to the bank at one of my old turn out spots and cut the dogs loose. They made a couple of big loops then I heard Graham face bark, a few seconds later Ann and Little Girl chimed in with him. It was a nice and quiet mornin' in the swamp and those dogs baying sounded like music echoing through the woods. They were about 300 yards away from me, I took my time walking to them just enjoying the bay. When I got to the dogs this sow was backed up in the edge of some cane grass, I tryed to ease in for a shot and she spotted me then ducked in the grass. Graham must of got to close, the sow charged him and he snagged an ear, the other two joined in and we went from bayed to caught real quick. I legged the sow, stuck her and we were done. Little bit of work getting her back to the boat by myself but it was worth, nice little quick hunt and back home my lunch...

Nothing like going into the woods with just you and your dogs.  Dragging a hog outta the woods too is even better.

Great picture.

Hey bro good to see you had time to hunt. Sometimes you make it sound to easy.  Hopefully when I get home from Iraq we can get on some pigs.  That sure is a nice picture. You have a some great dogs and a good eye with the camera.

Congrats on a successful hunt.  The hunts I will never forget are the ones with just me and the dogs.

Great Pic
