33 now and 58% humidity. This will be the warmest and most dry it will be in better than 24 hours.  Things were starting to dry out, too. Bummer that we will have wetness tomorrow.

We hauled more hay today so the cows won't run out in all this cold weather - well all the cows except char-lean who doesn't eat grass hay   Wink

All the dogs are bedded down on full bellies, horses are munching, pig has a tummy full of corn, and char-lean and her sheepish friends are chowing down some alfalfa. Everyone here is ready for another cold night.

Cheers

23 i think i dont really know, i got 3 litters of rat terriers in the hutches in the house on those Kane heating mats, my mule is on the back porth cement slab where the door leaks heat, the dogs in the kennels had water yesterday afternoon before the 5 gallon buckts froze over again, I been outside getting 3 other hose bibs to leak so they wont freeze up tonight or tormorrow, of course the one next to the dog kennel is frozen adn so is the hose, i will have to get a new hose in the morning and leave it in the house so it wont freeze up after using it every time, I put a chicken heat lamp inside the sub pump room and closed the door so it wont freeze up as well, i am going to make hot mush in th emorning on the bar b q pit with goat milk replacer and some hamburger meat, i want them all to have hot meal and heavy protein first thing in the am, then i going to dump out all of th3 5 gallon ice buckets and fill them up with warm water from the house.  I wish i had a better dog house design on these kennels so i could put hay inside it for bedding, had some worm build these and they kinda vaccum.  Been extra feeding the mule with fresh horse and mule and even bought a bale of that show pony alfalfa hay to make sure he has nuff oats to burn, he has been slicking off really good so far, need to worm him up when it warms up, been wondering what truck i have is full of water not anitfreese tonightlol

I have been coating the dogs food with oil at night. I was wondering ifp I might need to be giving them some warm rice or oatmeal in the morning.

I bought a new sheep tonight and she was sheared back in November. She doesn't have near the wool that my others have. She is sure figuring out what alfalfa is all about. You are going to spoil that mule letting him stay at the house and chowing down on alfalfa...

Cheers

We got all the crap and none of the fun. NO SNOW in LaPorte, TX. However, the humidity is back and now 32 degrees feels colder than the 28 we had the other day!
