Posting for a buddy of mine who just did a trade in for a 2006 Chevy 1500 that came with a ranch hand grill guard but he has an uncle who makes custom full front-end replacement bumpers and is having the family made heavier duty bumper installed right away. he came by my place today after asking if i was interested in it and we tried to put it on my GMC sierra but the mounting brackets didnt match up and would require some minor welding and time which i dont have but otherwise I would have bought it myself for my truck, had it just bolted on as planned. He didnt want to alter its factory spec's any by welding on it himself and is still looking to get rid of the one that came with the truck off the lot since he's upgrading. again, the truck was used however it was nice enough of a truck for him to buy and the grill guard is in very good shape, paint is still glossy around it with only a dime sized dent in the bottom base-bar/tube but didnt crack the paint, might have been from a bump into a shopping cart or something lol so its not brand spankin' new, yet its nowhere close to being considered well used, scratched and beat up by any means, id say a year's worth of city driving is the only action this grill guard has seen. it is designed to fit chevy 1500's, 1500 clasic pick ups, Avalanches, and certain 2500 models that dont have the duramax style of hood made from 2003-2007 and is the "LEGEND SERIES" of grill guard listed online new for $450+ and he's hoping to get $250 for it but he says haggles and trades are welcomed but hes not much of a dogger but who knows, he may settle for way less, any offer might make a deal so ask away.
