Bad as I hate to admit it, I cuaght one many moons ago off I-10 down in Woman Hollering Creek. I was 17 and had a good looking pit in my truck on the way to San Antonio when I saw one lonely sow and not much traffic so teenage stupidity got the better of me. If that was any of yalls land, I apologize. It was 10 years ago so hopefully y'all can forgive me. Grin

The first time I hunted with the Hefernan brothers their dogs had one bayed on the Garmin but we couldn't hear them so we took of, walked forever and got to where we could hear them plain as day, but couldn't see them anywhere! Turned out like 5 dogs and a good sow were all down in this big post hurricane blow down sand cave with a bunch of brush covering the entrance!  John had to slide in while I held his belt and pulled him up. Then we both pulled the sow with all the dogs still attached up out of that hole.

It ain't downtown Houston, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Caught 1 on a lake in Fl that had houses all around it when they jumped him he lit out though the back yards and about every other one had a security light and we watched them run half way around that big ole lake by the light coming on and going off, finally caught in a drive way under an SUV good times.

Expensive golf course that we were not exactly supposed to be on with three old men attempting to run us down with golf carts who thought we were trying to tye up, drag away and kidnapp a small child that was screaming. LOL was a 70 lb shoat that was squeeling. They nearly got us to but I think one threw out his hip.

We had a big sow jump into a 20' x 20' x 3' dry, concrete water tank. The funny thing was none of the dogs would go in with her, not even the catch dogs!  We ended up shooting her, but then we couldn't lift her out so we tied a chain on and pulled her over the wall, luckily we didn't pull the wall down!

A neighbors back yard, porch light was on. Either nobody was home, they were sound sleepers, or just scared as we were and wouldn't stick their heads out. Had permission to get dogs back off this place, but it was around 2:00 am. I never asked any questions later( scared to)!!!!

I-10 median between Dorcas, and Mossy Head, Florida.  I had to explain to a Highway Patrolman why I was there with a little black dog and a knife  He let me go with a verbal warning.

Also caught a few in two different subdivisions.  Traps and dogs.
