This is a bad one and it is now in the County Affairs Committee  http://www.house.state.tx.us/committees/committee/?committee=210&session=82 . No dogs on chains, all kennels must be 150 sq. ft., no dogs outside below 32 deg.ect... and it is the breeder bill. ALL BAD.

READ IT HERE   http://www.legis.state.tx.us/tlodocs/82R/billtext/html/HB02116I.htm   Strike outs are wording being removed, underlined text is being added.

What can you do? Call each member of the committee, their numbers are in the link by their name, and explain that this bill is a bad bill for Texas dog owners and you want them to vote No on this bill, we do not want this to even make it out of committee.

Interesting facts: This bill should not really be in county affairs, but Coleman, who filed the bill, is the chairman of this committee.

150 sq ft kennel? They don't even sell them. So every kennel will have to be replaced. Kennel manufacturers love that.
