@ Amokabs---

I thought it was mastitis myself and was kicking myself for not being more careful I tend to be VERY watchful about stuff like this, I HATE losing puppies especially to neglect BUT then she done got bit again and I saw the fang marks this time, so I turned over the whelping box and my whelping room and looked for the little suxer till I done fnd her.  NASTY ehhh? I should have taken a picture of her, she wasn’t much to think of probably the size of a quarter, BUT she was wicked.

I do not like using H2O2 but ONCE since it removes the scab, BUT if it works for ya then GREAT that is all that matters.

for a brown recluse bite, i have never had a dog bitten, knock on wood, but i have had a cat bitten and i myself have been bitten three times... Antibiotics for ten days and boil the wound out anytime you notice puss or anything in it, keep it clean but dont keep it wrapped up all of the time because it needs the air to heal

Brown recluse is a bad dude. I've seen numerous people coming to operating room to have a muscle flap and skin grafts to cover the necrotic tissue. You did good Oily.

Try newstock, it works.really well. I have had to heal up some dogs that were pretty bad and this stuff works. I don't like to use antibiotics unless I have too and with newstock I very rarely have to.
