Clue left at noon yesterday to return a welder to friend and got back about 10 last night. He got up this morning and noticed the Bulldog gone off his chain and discovered Cowboy dead. HE hasn't found the Bulldog yet to return the favor. Cowboy looked like he was going to be an excepional sire besides being as good a cowdog as I've seen.

I hate to hear that about the dog.  I know from everything I've read on here that he was a one of kind dog.  It always seems like its the good ones that go. One of the best gyps I've ever hunted behind hung herself yesterday in a freak accident.

Man that SUCKS.  When I got to see that dog work, it was amazing.  He knew when to be there, how much, and just how to.  It was like he could read their minds.  I am glad that their are some pups on the ground out of him.  The way Clue talked about that dog probably never be able to replace him.

x,s 2 i thinki that was the smartest and best cowdog  i've ever seen , i got a 10 month old male out of him that favors him alot in looks and just had a younger full brother to him get runover . i was sure lookin forward to maybe breeding back to him on his granddaughters .

maybe some of his sons will step up and he wont be completely lost .

I sure hate to hear it. Was up there recently and I guess you never know what can happen next. I know Clue, Lisa and Chelsea will miss him. Had same happen on my yard a few years ago. A bulldog is alot easier to replace than an exceptional dog like him. Hope his get will produce and work like him. I bet some will.
