Technically you dont need one here in Texas either, its called being the landowners agent, that and hogs are exotic livestock .

T-bob, the problem with that is the game warden don't want to look at it that way. Technically you are absolutely right but my cousin's husband had to pay a ticket for hunting hogs on his own property without a license. The warden said that he could only kill them if they were caught in the act of actually tearing up his land and there was no way to prove that they were in the act. That is the problem with the way the law on feral hogs is written.
