Well after Thursday i needed to run a fww pounds off so i loaded up 7 dogs including two CDs( Hooey and Moody). I took my two of my finished dogs Diamond and Fred. and Three young dogs Maniac, Flop and Reggie. I started on one side of the place and came up with nothin. I had diamond on the 4 wheeler cause she will take a old track and cold nose till she finds a hog. So i just let the younguns hunt. I made my way to the other side and came to slough that had some sign in it but the younguns couldnt pick it up. I squaled out to diamond and she jumped off and picked the track up and she took it 1.27 miles and all the dogs hung w her. I made my way to the other side and they were bayed and the cur dogs were catching him and lettin him go well i got close enough and turned the cds loose and got em caught. i had to swim across a slough to get to them si ended up killin the hog. The dogs all rolled out and went 0.74 miles and sat down baying again. Got to them and had a few hogs bayed. Young dogs started gettin catchy and broke the hogs up. Maniac had caught a lil shoat and he had it in his mouth just looking at me and i told em get ahead and squaled outanf then they rolled out a lil more than half a mile and bayed another good bo hog and i got him caught and brought em alive. Young dogs are gettin better.  First hog    Lil Shoat Maniac caught.  Second Bo Hog  Hooey and Moody tired |
