I have six week old pups should I use 5 and 1 or 7 and 1 shots

I've used both at six weeks but I think for the very first shot they recommend the 5 in 1
|

I used to give three 8 in 1 shots to all my pups that I kept...then I cut down to 2 shots and then down to one at 8 or 9 weeks...
if it is a special pup then I will give two 8 in 1 shots...just extra precaution...
