....and they did a hell of a job. Honestly, they haven't shown a lot of interest in the past training sessions, but that doesn't mean squat to me. There's no comparison to a real hunt in my book when it comes to training. A buddy called and he had been seeing 5 pigs out in his coastal/wheat the past few nights.  Nothing over 100lbs so I loaded up and headed that way. These two gyps are sisters 15 months old. I ran them loose on the ground with the strike dogs. A couple barks and the chase was on. It was rewarding watching them close the gap on a boar that broke off by himself trying to get away. The combination of them seeing their pack work and the pigs running flipped that switch and it was on. Not trying to brag, just feels good after a patient year and a half of waiting and wondering.
