Ivermec the fool out of them if its sarcoptic. now for red mange honestly not worth the fight to fix it in my book. it is contageous some how, not supose to be but i had a litter come down with it at about 4 months old. there were 3 other pups around the same age in the kennel with those pups and they came down with it a few weeks later. None of them were even the same blood line/breed. Even sent skin scrapings off to UGA and it was demodex mange vets couldnt tell me why all those pups got it?? Now i culled the litter that it started with but the other 3 who only showed small signs of it are doing fine now. 

My dad is a recon marine, he always picked on army and navy. but he did tell me how a the green beret and a navy river boat saved him and his buds in some swamp in vietman lol. so thanks green berets cause i probably wouldnt be here if it wasnt for them. 

had a fella contact me about hogs tearing up his place they were coming off the mountain behind his house. They guy literally saw them 10 min before I got there, turned my "best" dog out and she hit right behind the porch ran 2 laps around the house and trees his kids cat. laugh about it now but god I thought well that's it I'll just go home.

if she has a good litter I'll sell few, but I live in the Carolinas so it would be a haul for yall. Sure would like to hunt in Texas one day tho lol.

i got a birdbull and have hunted with a few, i really like them. he is a very busy dog and alot of nose and hunt. but he is all catch but all mine catch so its fine. GSPx a nice long legged pitt and you got some serious hair pullers. Some the bear hunters around here have crossed GSP with walkers and rave about them. Gonna cross my birdbull back over to a catahoula cur cross this summer if nothing happens to them. cant wait to get them pups going.

Just sounds like dogs that dont know how to track, it takes alot of time to make a dog that will hunt. Next time somthing like that happens, just let them work. they about gotta do it on their own, and hopfully the light bulb will go off.  Ive stood in some spots knowing dang well where the hogs went just to let the dogs figure it out, it might not get you a hog everytime but in the long run your dogs are hunting for you not the other way around. I got a little bitch that was just like what you were saying, all drive and hunt and no idea what to do with it yet. but after alot of hard days the dogs started to figure it out. least your getting into hog and least they are trying. 

One of the best dog men ive ever seen told me the best advice i was ever given..... breed the best to the best and hope for the best lol.

Alot of where i hunt in south carolina is preaty much a jungle, we hear the same complants... hog dont bay like they use to, they run all over now i think they stop more when they want then when the dogs put the breaks on them. But its more about the number of other dog hunters/ crap dogs now and most the hogs are learning about dogs. But as far as stopping them, I got a little female cat that will pull a tail/nutts like no other. Shell back off and bay if its a big hog or a group but running right behind her hopfully lol is the RCDs. It works for me and when it goes bad it goes bad quick but most of the places i catch hogs are in the thickets and the hogs are running not just bedding them.  But on the other hand ive seen alot of hogs bay up for just one loose dog, weather that means they dont feel the pressure or not who knows. I might be wrong but just what ive seen. One thing ive noticed alot of yall keep your bulldogs on a leash, alot of folks here hunt them with the curs loose. but we probably dont cover the amount of land yall do.   

keep that bowl full till hes fat, you can put egg or corn oil in his feed. even done calf milk replacer. but free feeds the best way.

I dont care if its a lap dog or a pitt, if i cant trust it around my kids other people and other animals its getting put down. Not gonna pawn my junk off on other people. 

Sounds like a good time, i always like to see how my dogs stack up against other dogs. Good or bad you always can learn somthing.

Doesnt suprise me, it would get ugly quick. obviously the cities would be the first to go. but it would be the wild west out here in the mountains lol.  . but sadly most people wouldnt have the sand to stand up for what they believe in.

I got a good one, and seen a few more. I like the birdbulls, mines a 50/50 hes a real good running catch dog and got some decent hunt to him. If i could figure out how to post pics id put him up here but technology is kickin my butt at the moment.

I run a kennel of some really well bred foxhounds goes back to the original bywaters virginia foxhound blood and alot farther back with some of the improted english blood. i breed to hunt but keep the paper work going, but it normally doesnt mean a thing. your still gonna have culls and rejects. but its part of the game.

LOL man yall sounds like the guys around here about curs/hounds whos is better. Id like to try a dogo one day, but in the carolinas they arnt too many and the ones that are around probably arnt worth the money for a catch dog or a running catch dog. I like my cheap trashy back alley pitts. 

Gonna jump on in to this one. The bigger issue is if obama and romneys the best our country can come up with were screwed as a country. To me its like picking which STD youd rather have. One hand youve got a president that promises the world (right or wrong its up to you) but for the past 4 years hasnt done really anything he said he would do and doesnt look like he will in the next 4 years. Then you got the other side, romneys about as lively/awkward as my little girls ken doll. Now hes a money guy and thats what we need to fix some problems. But the ole stormin morman just doesnt strike me as a world leader lol.  either way i dont like either of them but im just one of those crazy guys in the mountains with alot of guns and dogs lol. cheers
