You should already know after this comment you posted on the hound thread
" well i have to say the only hound ill hunt is a silent plott the rest are made for treeing and the last i remember hogs don't climb tree's I live on the oklahoma tx border hwy 75 we don't have near as many hogs as you guys do and are hogs run around here but a trail barking hound don't do the trick for us cause the more they bark the further them hogs run they don't go up a tree like a bear or cat so ill stick with my 1/4 plott and 3/4 cur or catahoula's
but nothing can beat a good ol cur dog.
