Well we were able to have one of the REAL dog men of our time hunt with us this pass weekend.   Me and my son have owed him much more than a hunt but we had a great time doin it also.  Cajun and a buddy of his “Larry” came and made a round in our neck of the woods.   Too watch just some of their dogs work a track was truly what this game is all about.    When people talk about track speed is what it takes to stop running hogs we better listen to em cause they know what they are talking about.  It simply amazes me to watch the difference in certain dogs and their ability to excel where others just don’t got it.    The age old debate of silent and bark on track is obsolete in my book if a dog doesn’t have track speed and accuracy it all goes out the window.   Here’s a few we managed to stop and catch in this jungle patch of woods we got to hunt around here. lol.  Palmettos shoulda never been invented lol.  I could see the question over top of their heads. Why in the world are we seeing so much hog sign and some how can’t have a bay behind every tree stump.   Hehe. We were honored to hunt with y’all Mike.  Definitely looking forward to the next round.

I have been hunting with T dog for over 15 years and that speed running a track is the biggest difference I have seen in his dogs. If ol Mr. Hog can't stop to catch his breath once in awhile, it does shorten those races. Good hunt you guys.

Toby, It was out pleasure to be able to hunt with you, Wesley and the rest of your crew. I cannot say enough about your hospitality and your gracious wife putting up with us and disrupting your home. We had a blast and you are right about those Palmettas. It's amazing that the dogs can run through them at all. Y'all really have a fine place to hunt. I have never met a better mannered kid then Wesley. Larry and I were talking on the way back how respectful and well mannered he was. Defiantly a son to be proud of. We will sure do it again.

That’s pretty awesome. Looks and sounds like a great time. I’m sure the dogs were a real pleasure to watch.
