Wait, let me gt this straight. There are people on here doubting the weight of hogs on here even though the poster has weighed them themselves? I don't understand. If a weight is posted on the WWW, it is set in stone. No change backs. I called it.

385 Barr 376 Sow (I think this pic makes the sow look smaller) (Same Sow better pics) I believe this hog went 360lbs across the buyer's scale TexasHogDogs could probably tell you about the size of this one. Best pic of all, but smallest of the hogs I posted. This one weighed right at 320lbs

Ninja, that hog is so big it almost looks photoshopped! You sure about not over 200? LOL! Good Lord! Same to you Krystal! That hog almost fills up the trailer! Good post T-Bob! I like seeing the big guys! They are one helluva wild animal! Ryan, it was a smaller type wheeler and Scooter was sitting on the back of it when I took the picture with my Iphone. It was a good hog with a 300 pound attitude but he didnt go over 200. Now that hog in the trailer that weighs 464 looks every bit of it and then some in that pic! Thereis no doubt about that 464! LOL! That thing is huge! And I wasn't questioning it, just pokin some fun... Crazy to think all these animals are getting this big out in the wild. These are the real hogzillas!

No, y'all are misinterpreting my "proof"
I wanted to show scale on large bodied hogs. How many times have we all seen a jog on the hoof waste high and 5 foot from nose to ham and got Buck fever, but, after the kill when it's weighed you find that "hogzilla" was 300-350. 300 is a big hog. 400and over in ferals is approaching truley gargantuan. I didn't mean to sound like I have to see a scale. Just wanted to show scale for education purposes, Ive seen so many people showing off a 200 pound good looking boar but claiming it to be a 500 pound man eater doesn't do any body any good

I hear ya man! Heard it many, many times! Being close to a certified scale and watch the man that taught me hunting it's far fetched most of the time on weight.

Up until the past year or so I didn't take many pictures of caught hogs, just a few of the biggest. But now that I have gotten into the internet hog hunting I take a lot more. The PROOF has to be shown to be believed. I know very few people on here and very few know me. It’s a shame a man's word can't be taken for that, but thats the way it is. There are a lot of dishonest and ignorant people who post pics of hogs and throw a weight out there. I hear 300 lbs get thrown around a lot by the unknowing, way more than it ever should. In my opinion a 300lbs hog is a definite trophy, and few and far between. What has brought us to this point are the pics of 175lb hogs that are claimed to be at least 300. Don't throw weights around till they hit the scales! The last real big hog we caught I went by the local store, and there were a couple guys that came out and looked at the hog. They had come to the conclusion that it has to weigh between 450 and 500lbs. All I could do was laugh and they thought I was crazy . Several months back I bought a new set of scales of my own just for the "Proof" in the future. I'm sorry all the pics I posted didn't have scales included. There are some large hogs in this thread that dwarf some of those that claim to be. A great place to look back for a comparison.

We have all heard the stories about 500 lb wild hogs that were this ---------------------------------------------- Tall. There may be a few walking around somewhere on some crop land but I have never caught or seen one.. I have caught about 5 hogs over 400 and most people just don't realize how massive a hog has to be to get to 400..

I enjoyed this post anyway. because I have weighed alot of hogs and always enjoys playing the guessing game. okay I posted the #464 I weighed it along with the owners of Wild Boar USA and now for a picture that makes the same hog look smaller in the daylight taken in the feild right after it was caught by somebody else. I was not on hunt and domnt have anything to do with the catch of this hog. (okay, I will take credit for breeding some of the dogs that were part of his capture! true story) anyway same hog different angle most likely weighed more as it was early in day and had to get it moved and loaded and transported to my house for weighing then wait on a scale that could actually weigh it that was another hour and half later and after dark at that time

be careful Milman, I used to cary live hogs like that with the elastic bands holding them down. Well one hog decided to move around while I was riding back to the truck. The elastic band flung off and swung right above my head, I know it would have taken my eye out if it had hit me. I could feel the wind as it passed right over me.
I know use ratchet straps any time I put a hog on my wheeler.
later and nice hogs

This one needs a btt, this post is FULL OF SOME INCREDIBLE ONCE IN A LIFTINE TROPHY HOGS NO DOUBT, but there's not a single 500 pounder in here. Once again, I'm not being rude, calling anyone a liar or saying that feral hogs over 500 pounds don't exist, I'm simply saying that 300 is big, 400 is a monster and 500 is ALMOST inconceivable.
Some of these guys on this thread are some of the more respected hog hunters around and if there were as many legit 500 pounders as lots of youngins say there are, we'd have 10-20 pics of 500 pounders
