I wouldnt do it myself because if the tooth broke in half you have to make sure you get it all out or it will become infected then you will have a bad a$$ vet bill or a dead dog

Ive heard of a vet around Mansfield and Many area from a guy that works for me. He said this vet does not like hog hunting and will charge hog hunters out the a$$ for sewing a dog up. He had a dog that got cut under the front leg and it followed the shoulder blade up about 4 inches . That vet charged him over $800 to sew up a little muscle and skin. Let it pull it out on another hog or find another vet.

Just called they said it could cost up in the thousands fml
Hey bud where are you located at because my catch dog got loose 2 weeks ago and got after my horse and he kicked her and broke her jaw, took her to the vet here in Groves near Beaumont Texas DR.Wilcox he repaired the bone and cut out her tooth and it only cost $300.00 so idk what kind of vet you where calling but if you are close to my area DR.Wilcox would be your best bet. he is an awesome vet.

melonhead, thats what i was saying. starting fluid aint pure ether, but it has enough. when i was in field artty back in the late 90's we would ether bunny each other using ether. i know it worked, cant say it does now, but it used to work. strating fluid is as cheap as NOS and im sure the local mom n pop gas station dont carry bottles of NOS, but i bet the carry starting fluid. Lol, ether bunny.
That stuffs harsh man, lol. Whippets aren't dogs where I come from, nitrous is in whipped cream pressurized cans.
Red solo cup with a hole in the bottom, put the nozzle end in there, cup over dogs mouth, hold can upright - 2 cans should make a grown dog loopy if not pass out, lol.
The things we would do as kids - makes me fear my daughters getting older.

Valium is safe for most dogs too.

I had a big hog knock my Red dogs top canine tooth to where it was just dangling. Cut it out with a pocket knife. This same hog also broke a brand new tracking collar half in two on the same dog. He was bad news because he cut up every dog we had real bad and killed Pinto. However, he could not fade a 45 slug.

The cup thing was a joke - should not be tried at home
