Keep em Straight and Keep em Yeller

Well we finally got our long time marathon runner tonight. Ole buddy Strikedogkennel called me up late this evening and wanted to make a run on the hog we have labeled Forrest Gump since it had freshly rained and the temp was dropping nicely.

We took a full Yeller crew...surprise ....surprise and kicked em out. They made a good long swing and picked big boy up in a acorn flat running along a creek bottom. Them Yellers worked the track on out for awhile and finally jumped him. Took him about half mile or so and sat down on ole Forrest.

I have finally talked Chance..Strikedogkennel..into running him a full blood Yeller as catch along with his bulldog. Hehe

We got to the bay and turned the bulldog and Chances Yeller missile loose. Heard the hit and ran in to leg. Well.......he was caught good but took to whooping the fire out of everything and threw the bulldog off and broke. Except......OLE YELLER..Haha.

Yeller looked like a rodeo clown being beat to pieces but he held like a sea anchor until the others shut biggun down for the last time.

Anyway great hunt had alot of fun as always and got to rib my good buddy about getting rid of all the dang bulldogs and colored thangs he likes to play with and just fill up his Yeller crayon box. Lol

Enjoy

Chance with several of his dogs and the prettiest shirt I have ever seen on a man.  laugh

With a good vest this dog is tough.  His running partner is the bulldog.  I like a catching curr as long as there is a catching bulldog with him.  There is more to the story on the nice looking shirt.  See I took my best dog on the hunt and I knew we'd be taking pictures with a hog.  Those youngsters had tried this hog twice in the last two weeks but did not have any luck.  I dressed for the occasion.  LOL

By the way, Im looking for a new hunting partner.  I'll get all of the hunting spots, provide all the tracking collars, dog vests, and pay for all the diesel, all he has to do is show up on time,  not trash talk about my dogs, and keep his comments about my hunting get up to himself.  The position is ready to be filled now.
