who sells it in Brazoria County???
Country Value High Energy dog food is made by Diamond and is 4 dollars cheaper per bag of 50 pounds...I am on my 9th bag right now and the dogs are doing pretty good on it...probably not quite as good as sportsmix but gave that one up when it went over 32 bucks...
I bought ten 50# bags in Edna but I just go there once in a while to the deer lease so I will not make a 180 mile round trip to save 4 dollars a bag when I can buy diamond hi energy right here...

dblackwell...thanks for the info... I called Litzlers and the "COUNTRY" dog food is 22 percent protein and 8 percent fat...so I am passing up on it...I guess I will be using Diamond high energy because it is 8 dollars cheaper than sportsmix for the 50 pound bags...

I am I diamond man myself always have been. A friend of mine told me about the country feed. I had my wife pick up a bag to try honestly I haddnt even looked at the contents. I tried the retriever high energy a while back my dogs did ok on that just looked like hell. Full of energy but a little poore looking. I thinking of feeding that country feed to my pups and saving the diamond for my old dogs I use every week to save a little on that feed bill!

Man thats crazy Mr. Reuben, Diamond around here is more expensive than sportsmix, I pay 62$ even for 100lbs of black bag sportsmix and its 68$ for 80lbs of diamond, honestly I would still be feeding diamond but my dogs don't do well with it, their stool smells worse and is not consistant while on diamond, sportsmix however keeps all of my dogs looking good and clean up is much easier, I feed sportsmix to all of mine from 9weeks old to 9yrs old and i'm a believer in it.

Try Damon Farm and Ranch. But might be the same thing Litzler's is selling . I have been feeding that country dog food for about 3 weeks now my dogs havent missed a lick. I know the fat content isnt as high so people are staying away from it. They number 2 way less on this food then they ever have the feed doesnt have corn mill or any other bad fillers. JMO

I live in Midlothian and would like to know were to purchase sport mix or any other dog food that does better than diamond. Diamond does good on a few dogs but having trouble putting on weight on a few others.

Im with ya Reuben. Every since Rocky's shut down its been tough getting Sportsmix at a decent price. I switched to Diamond High Energy a couple months ago. The dogs look and act good but there is definitely an inconsistency in their stools. If you find a good alternative here in Brazoria County let me know.

Litzlers sells sportsmix too and im pretty sure it was the cost as Rockeys. If im not mistaken. It was around $33 a 50lbs sack. Dont feed sportsmix so I may be off on the price. My dogs actually dont look as good on sportsmix as they have on other feeds.

Damon feed store had sport mix for 28 a couple weeks ago but it's just too far to drive I'm still feeding sport mix at 33 a bag but just less of it per dog. They get diarrhea on diamond.....they love it and they look good but their kennels end of stinking and looking like a mud pit ......pretty much sux either way

I'll pay 28 bucks but not 33...Damon feed store also owns the Angleton feed store so I will check there and see if they have it for 28 dollars...
Diamond high energy is 28 bucks at TSC and country value high energy is 24 but I will not drive very far to save 4 dollars a bag...
