I get it from petsofoz.com. No need for vet RX. 60-120# tablet cut in half just as everyone has said.

$84.95 for 6pack plus $5 flat fee for shipping. I order a pack about once a year maybe to have it on hand when I need it.

That's why I'm not sure what's the typo because if you keep reading it says it does not.

100 bucks for 6 pills down here... good for a 120 pound dog so I do like Mike and crush them and split each pill between two dogs. Works great even on the couple dogs I have that weigh 80-90lbs.

Yes sir, whatever y'all do, be sure and mix it. The first time I used it, I just cut the tablet in half... it worked on one dog and not the other. Same thing happened to some friends... we assumed all the medicine is one part of the tablet.

I've been using it like this for 4 years now with excellent results... and I only use it twice a year when I start seeing fleas. the best thing about it is that you don't have to spray your yard or kennels... the dogs become flea killing machines and it wipes them out.
Mike, do you mix it with water after you crush them, or just half the powder and give it to them?

to those that use comfortis, I have a question and im hopin one of ya'll have the answer haha.

SO obviously as mike said you can use 1 one pill for 2 dogs if you crash and mix the pill first........ thats the easy part BUT here is my question, at what age can you start giving this to pups? I had GREAT results with the permitherin/ bayer mix last year but this year the flea's are drinkin that chit and multiplyin like crazy. I currently have 7 pups at my house still on their momma (3 weeks old) can I safely give it to the mother right now without riskin side effects passed to the pups? Also I have 4 pups at my house under 4 months of age that are needing some type of treatment as well, ya'll reckon I could just split 1 pill 4 ways for those pups or would it be to much for them at this age? any thoughts or suggestions would be welcomed.

You can give a comfortis tablet to any pup over 14 wks.  The tablets vary in size by the weight of your pup, so when you do crush them up you don't know 100% which pup is getting which dose. May be better off to just buy them each a tablet according to their weight to make sure everyone is getting the full, correct dose. Depending on your flea problem, your pups should be good for at least a month or more. We are able to skips a couple months in a row with our dogs.  Also, it is okay to give an nursing mother comfortis, most of it is passed through her waste than her milk and just wash her pups with dawn. Hope this helps.

I appreciate the info, the momma and pups aren't being bothered much by flea's as of yet but the other older pups I have are getting ate up. The dawn works great UNTIL they go back outside then within a day or so the flea's are back with a vengence. Comfortis it is.
