Made a hunt with Charlie, Craig and Mike the knife. Sat. ran a couple hogs off the lease and only caught a small sow and a couple of pigs. Sunday we got a rig but could not find a track. Put  Amber and Yellow down and they left. Jumped about 700 yards in and we all packed dogs in. Had about a hour and half race and he crossed the road. Went there and saw how big his tracks were and started to have doubts about me dumping some 9 month pups into the race. One of them it was her first trip to the woods. Anyway they all made the race and were baying like seasoned veterans when we turned the bulldog s loose.

There’s nothing wrong with that Cajun. Sounds like good dog work by young and old.

Muddy, Amber is starting to show her age at 7 1/2 but she can still get it done. Yellow and his brother Jack are going to make real trail dogs. We have some other young dogs coming on that can trail too so we will be in good shape. Amber has been a good one and will have a home for life.

NLAhunter, Craig is one of the good ole boys and has hunted with us the last few years. He will help you out any way he can and just a all around good guy.
